Dr. Alluri is a board-certified cardiologist with Inova who sees patients at the Selma Heart Center in Winchester through a clinical collaboration. She brings advanced cardiovascular expertise to the community, expanding access to high-quality, specialized care close to home.
She specializes in general and preventive cardiology, with clinical interests in cardio-oncology, hypertension, and cholesterol management. She also has a strong interest in women’s heart health, with a focus on early detection, prevention, and addressing the unique ways cardiovascular disease presents in women.
Dr. Alluri is board certified in cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology, and is committed to delivering evidence-based care that helps patients prevent and effectively manage heart disease. Dr. Alluri earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical School and completed her internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital. Her training at leading institutions informs her thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care.
She was drawn to cardiology by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives. With heart disease remaining the leading cause of death worldwide, she is passionate about helping patients understand their risk and make informed decisions about their care. Dr. Alluri’s approach centers on listening closely, clearly explaining treatment options and the evidence behind them, and partnering with patients to make decisions that align with their individual goals and values.
